The placing of an order shall include acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS

The defined terms in this document shall have the following meanings:

1.1. Buyer: the person or organisation who purchases or agrees to purchase Goods from the Seller.

1.2. Seller: Safetech Suppliers Ltd

1.3. Contract: the agreement between the Buyer and Seller for the sale and purchase of Goods incorporating these Terms and Conditions.

1.4. Goods: the articles the Buyer purchases or agrees to purchase from the Seller.


2. PRICE

2.1. Prices are believed to be correct at time of data entry but may vary without notice.

2.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing the Goods will be invoiced at the price set out on the website on the date of despatch or deemed despatch and we reserve the right to amend any errors or omissions.

2.3. The price for Goods shall be exclusive of Value Added Tax and delivery and will be added at the time of invoicing.


3. PURCHASING

3.1 Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

3.2 We accept credit card payments.

3.3 We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone.

3.4 We accept cheque - Goods will be despatched once the cheque has been cleared in full into STS bank account. Any bounced cheque charges recieved by the bank will need to paid in full by the buyer before the release of any goods.

3.5 If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

3.6 When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


4. DELIVERY

4.1. Standard delivery is usually within 2-3 working days after processing the order.

4.2. To qualify for Next Working Day Delivery all orders must be placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm for ''Next Working Day Delivery' will be processed the next day for the following working day. 

4.3. Notification is required by email for all BACS payments. Failure to do so will result in delivery delays.

4.4. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller, delivery of Goods will take place by our normal route to the address as indicated on the Buyer’s order.

4.5. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for Delivery.

4.6. The Seller shall not in any event be held liable for any damage or loss, either indirect or consequential, suffered or alleged to have been suffered by the Buyer caused by or arising out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.

4.7. The Seller cannot accept liability for loss in transit or damage. Complaints of loss or damage must be notified to the Seller within 48 hours of delivery.

4.8. All our couriers hold records of proof of delivery for 3 months. Therefore, we cannot accommodate requests for proof of delivery later than 3 months from the date of invoice.

4.9. Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods, or where the Buyer fails to take delivery at the agreed time when the delivery was attempted.

4.10. Delivery for orders placed on or around festival seasons will vary. Please contact Sales Department for more information for lead times on delivery.

5. WARRANTIES

5.1. The warranty on Goods supplied by the Seller is normally 12 months from the date of purchase.

5.2. In warranty, replacements or repairs will not carry any charges providing that the Goods were found to be defective. Obvious misuse or abuse of the Goods will invalidate any warranty and charges will be accordingly applicable.

5.3. The Seller does not warrant the intellectual content of software programmes to be free of errors.

5.4. The Buyer shall notify the Seller of any damaged Goods within 48 hours of delivery and shall make arrangements to return the damaged Goods to the Seller within 7 working days of delivery. If the Buyer fails to do so, the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.

5.5. The Seller accepts no liability for losses or expenses incurred due to damaged or defective Goods.


6. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

6.1. Where Goods have been ordered and are not required, the Seller will accept the Goods back under the following conditions:

6.1.1. The Goods are returned within 7 days of purchase
6.1.2. The Goods are returned in the original packing
6.1.3. The Goods have not been used/installed
6.1.4. A minimum re-stocking and handling charge of 15% will apply.
6.1.5. If paid by card at the Tradecounter a further 2.5% will apply

6.2. Return of faulty goods within 12 months of purchase:

6.2.1. Goods are to be returned back to seller at buyers expense.
6.2.2. In the event the goods have been returned as faulty but has been confirmed as no fault, any delivery charges is to be paid by the buyer
6.2.3. Items returned as faulty but have been damaged - seller will accept no responsibility and charges will apply to buyer
6.2.4. Advanced replacements - To be purchased in full at buyers expense which will be reimbursed only if the faulty goods returned have been confirmed faulty by the manufacturer.

6.3. The Seller shall not accept return of any customised/special equipment unless defective.


7. GENERAL

7.1. The Seller reserves the right to alter the price and/or specification of any product without prior notice.

7.2. The Seller accepts no responsibility for any mistakes in the company literature. All information and data given in the Seller’s company literature is to be used as a guide and is for general information only.



Safetech Suppliers Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.


These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
